What return can we make back to the Lord for all that He has given unto us?
Last Christmas Jim’s sister, Nancy, had given all of us in the family a Mason jar and a book called, “Christmas Jar”. The point of the story was saving your money and donating it to a needy family. We all agreed to save our change throughout the year in our jars.
Thanksgiving was deemed the time to “count it up”. We all brought our jars to our Thanksgiving gathering.
We divided ourselves up into three “counting” teams to add up how much money we all saved, it was quite surprising to see how fast a little bit of change can become a large sum of money!
Pretty impressive total for just pocket change! I’m glad to know that it will be going to someone or some people who need it more than we do and that we can be of some assistance to someone else!
